 You can not Delete a Tax Category if it is currently assigned to one or more customer accounts. In such a case you must first remove the Tax Category from all customer records that it is assigned to, then try to delete the Tax Category.

1. Click the [Taxes] > [Tax Categories] menu button to enter the Tax Category module
   
2. Locate the Tax Category you would like to Delete and click the  button
3. Review the Tax Category Delete Confirmation screen and click the [Delete] button to delete the Tax Category
