Importing a Rate Table from a file will overwrite the entire content of the target Rate Table.

Converting your Rates to CDR2Cloud Format

CDR2Cloud allows you to import rates from a text file into any Rate table you choose. The source file containing the rates must be in a very specific format that CDR2Cloud will understand.

This source file must contain 10 tab separated columns as shown below:

CDR2Cloud  Rate Table Source file in Excel

 

The easiest way to convert your rates into the CDR2Cloud Tab delimited format is to do the following:

  1. Create a Rate Table
  2. Add 2 or 3 rates to the Rate Table
  3. Export the Rate Table to a text file (see the Rate Table - Export topic)
  4. Open the file with Excel. Don't double click the file open Excel first, then do "file open" to open the text file. Choose TAB delimited
  5. Update the file with your rates
  6. Save the file
  7. Import the file into your CDR2Cloud Rate Table (see below).


To import Rate Patterns from a file to a destination Rate Table, please follow the steps below:

  1. Identify the Rate Table (destination Rate Table) that you would like to import Rates to and click the  button. 
     
  2. Drag the (txt) file containing the Rate Patterns to the Upload page or click the Upload Icon to launch the file explorer

  3. The Rates will now be uploaded to the Rate Table and any existing Rate Patterns in the Rate Table will be erased before the import takes place.

  4. Click the [View Rates] button to view the Rate Patterns in the Rate table and ensure that the Import was successful.
